First half marathon in the books and it was so muc First half marathon in the books and it was so much fun!!

You all may know Nathan is the runner in our family, he’s incredible and has run so many marathons, qualifies for Boston every year, etc etc.

And anyone just meeting us who learns this about him immediately would always ask - do you run too? And my answer was always hell no šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜… or no way depending on the audience lmao. I’ve done a random charity or holiday 5K here or there but that’s it.

When Nathan came back from running Boston this year in April I basically got dared to run a marathon, and, feeling like running *could* be a useful skill in the future for survival or whatever (cough cough, apocalypse?) I said BET

So, I started running. And 20 weeks after my first training run I just ran my first half. And turns out running is amazing, I’m gaining weight again, got my period back after basically thinking I was in early menopause, I cut out whatever isn’t suiting me quicker than ever, and overall just like my weeks better. Who knew!?!?
Half-marathon training and running before I’ve eve Half-marathon training and running before I’ve even had my coffee (who am I)?! Here’s my quick routine before the run, the latest addition is the parodontax_usa Gum Strengthen & Protect with hyaluronic acid. Loving the difference I’ve noticed in my gum health while keeping my smile looking great too! #thegumexperts #parodontax #hyaluronicacid #ad #parodontaxpartner
Back in May we moved and despite how many times we Back in May we moved and despite how many times we’ve done it as a family I always forget (or repress?) how much work it actually is. Sometimes it feels sad, but this time it felt like a celebration and life feels lighter now!

Social media is such a tiny sliver of real life, rewind a few years and we bought a house, tried to renovate the house, realized home-owning feels like a scam (at least in this market with the rates we had), sold the house, rented a new house, battled rattlesnakes and other human snakes, and lived to tell the tale (someday). And then I found this hidden gem for rent and despite the crazy amount of work to move, we made it happen.

So just a reminder that life is messy and never as put together as it looks on social media and also timelines are silly and being a homeowner might be overrated 🤣🤣
Kids went back to school this week, we are literal Kids went back to school this week, we are literally in a time warp it feels. Anyone else still feel like they’re catching up from May?

So, in an effort to account for the fast forwarded time, I’m catching up on the feed and maybe then things will feel a little more in order? At least that’s what I’m telling myself.

So here’s our Fourth of July complete with Elli’s incredible cake she mostly made on her own! And fireworks from home šŸŽ†
Honestly my camera roll is full of educational con Honestly my camera roll is full of educational content that I rarely get around to posting because I have to edit out all the clowning that happens and I don’t have time for any of it 🤣🤣

But here are some bloopers I edited šŸ’ž
Scaly, dry flaky scalps usually don’t need more oi Scaly, dry flaky scalps usually don’t need more oil, they need the right shampoo! Too much oil actually feeds the problem 🤯 but the mainstay prescription shampoo can be really drying to hair itself, I’m so glad we have Cerave’s Anti-Dandruff hydrating shampoo and conditioner available now! I recommend it all the time in clinic, patients usually add it to their Amazon cart before they leave the office! #CeraVePartner cerave
